- Getting Started Using Renewable Energy Home & Garden
- This workshop will introduce established renewable energy technologies (solar how water, solar electric and wind electric) to the workshop participants and show them how to start on a 'soft energy path.' The participants will learn how to do an electrical load analysis on their home or business and learn how to translate that information into selecting the proper renewable energy system.

About the Instructor
AJ Rossman is the President of Draker Solar Design, LLC, an engineering firm that specializes in renewable energy system monitoring and educational displays. AJ is also a technical editor for Home Power Magazine and teaches a Renewable Energy Engineering course at the University of Vermont (UVM). He holds a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and masters degrees in Geology and Environmental Science from Miami University. Rossman enjoys teaching renewable energy principles to all levels of technical ability and lives with a solar hot water and a solar electric system.
